BICAchair Project is driven by a young multidisciplinary team directed by Alexandre Caldas, also director at AROUNDthetREE's Design department and responsible for the creation of PortugueseRootsChair in 2013 among other pieces with several international awards.
The team behind the project

The vision for the BICAchair project is based on the iconic design of the original model, but is growing naturally in order to adapt to the most varied lifestyles. It intends to be and create a family around this concept. To be, because it will grow naturally as a traditional family, with the birth of other pieces with the same DNA, and create, because during its journey, it wants to have a strong connection with another family … yours!
